Hiring Sales Development Representative

Hotel guests want an immediate, personalized, and consistent experience, no matter which travel channel they choose to engage with a brand. b4checkin, helps brands meet the demands of today’s travelers by providing a fast, flexible, and cost-effective means of making payments to hotel & resort properties.
b4checkin was founded almost two decades ago as a technology provider for the hotel industry, with a robust suite of software products to better integrate various operations into the tech stack, all with the end goal of helping solve hoteliers’ most significant challenges and improving the guest experience. Based out of Halifax, Nova Scotia, b4checkin’s premier product today is TransForm, a cloud payment platform that offers a secure eCommerce portal for guests to complete card-not-present transactions to hotels.
We currently have a great opportunity for a Sales Development Representative to join our motivated and creative Inside Sales team. As an SDR, you’ll be responsible for creating interest and developing conversations with contacts at enterprise corporations, hotel management companies, owners, and property-level decision-makers. Team members are passionate about the ongoing transformation of inside sales to something that is personal, value-filled, and representative of social disruption.
What You’ll Do:
- You will actively seek out new sales leads and business opportunities through active networking and sending personal, strategic, value-add emails, calls and social messages (no copying and pasting)
- You will be able to quickly research a company, identify opportunities, and strategize an approach to create interest
- You will profile potential prospects based on predetermined criteria
- You will secure meetings for your Outside Sales Reps.
Who You Are & What Makes You Qualified:
- College degree
- Desire to be in a SaaS software sales (full cycle) position as a career progression
- Have a verifiable track record of success and goal attainment in a sales-oriented role
- Have a passion for technology and disruptive technology
- 1-2 years in an SDR/BDR role considered an asset
- Hospitality industry (hotel & resort) experience is a plus
- You have a run-through-a-brick-wall level of drive, passion, and desire for results

As the first line of attack, our sales and marketing team is the driving force behind all new business. Generating leads, battling it out at trade shows, attending client dinners, and closing deals—that’s all in a day’s work for this dynamic bunch.
This team leads the charge to get our products launched! As part of the Integrations team, you’ll interact first-hand with our customers to ensure their success. No need to worry if you’re not fluent in programming—we have positions in project management & graphic design as well.
This team isn’t afraid to get into the nitty-gritty. Testing for Quality Assurance and bug fixes, taking customer concerns, and overseeing support cases are the daily priorities for these fearless leaders.
